At the creative request of a dealer, we set out to design a 21st century Quigley rifle.
The long barrel is octagon fluted like many guns from that era, but with a slight twist. Since we built the rifle off of a stainless steel action it didn’t need to be case-hardened but we liked the look so we painted it to give it the same style.
Built on an iota KLUTCH micarta stock, it’s twice as strong as aluminum and creates a super-accurate, compression-resistant platform preferred by today’s long-range competitive shooters.
Topped with today’s Vernier sight, a Nightforce ATACR scope, and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, Quigley would have shot a mite further with this Truly Custom build.
