On this podcast, Derrick talks with Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer, Martha Josey. Martha is a well-known figure in the rodeo world for barrel racing. She is a World Champion Barrel Racer, 11x NFR contestant, and Olympic Medalist. Martha talks about her origins in the rodeo and how she got into barrel racing. She has been in 11 National Finals Rodeos, so she has been able to see how it has changed over the years. Martha now works with Circle Y Saddles creating her own line of saddles, and owns the longest running rodeo school in the world. Four of her former students are currently competing in the 2024 National Finals Rodeo here in Vegas.
