Horizon Firearms was founded on the belief that a rifle should be more than a tool. It should tell a story.

Our roots trace back to a family brand that symbolizes three brothers who traveled from Tennessee to Texas in 1876 with little more than each other. That same spirit of perseverance, family, and craftsmanship became the foundation of Horizon Firearms. When brothers Derrick and Austin set out to build rifles, they started in a small garage with a vision to create something different. They weren't interested in following the industry's status quo. They wanted to build rifles that reflected the people who carried them.

Long before the 22 Creedmoor became a household name, Horizon Firearms recognized its potential. We invested in the cartridge early, proving its performance through extensive field testing and purpose built hunting rifles.

As demand grew, Horizon Firearms helped lead the effort to achieve SAAMI approval, transforming the 22 Creedmoor from a niche wildcat cartridge into a standardized offering with widely available factory ammunition.

Today, the 22 Creedmoor is one of the premier hunting cartridges available, and Horizon continues to build rifles that maximize its performance while pushing innovation forward.
