Horizon Firearms builds all of our rifles to achieve a standard of 0.5 MOA when using factory ammunition. For best results, we recommend testing rifle accuracy from a stable shooting platform.
The Venatic Carbon 2 ships with a flush-fit magazine. Magnum chamberings utilize a proprietary 3-round flush magazine, while short-action standard cartridges (including .308 Win and 22 Creedmoor) use AICS-pattern bottom metal with a 4-round flush magazine.
The Venatic Carbon 2 includes a 20 MOA Stiller Actions Picatinny rail installed from the factory. Depending on cartridge selection, the rifle is built on the Stiller Hyrax short- or long-action platform, so the rail corresponds to the appropriate action length.
